Good morning all,
A few recent posts regarding pre-trip checklists and seaworthiness got me thinking about data sources before leaving port. Here are a few links to data buoy websites that may help in trip preparation. You can get forecasts, mobile apps, and real-time data, including wave height, wind speed, water temp., etc. Some regional sites are easier to navigate and more intuitive than others, but there's a lot of great info on these sites.
I hope this helps!
Doug

Great list, many thanks.
I would like to add this one to list. It covers the Texas Gulf Coast ICW with a few more sites. Requires Flash though which does not work on Apple products.

This one lists them by name and is compatible with Apple.

Thanks again

Herb: Flash is only absent on the Apple iPhone and iPads (per Jobs edict). Apple Macs have no problem with using Flash though.
