Our boat died in May and is finally alive! First suspect part was the fuel filter primer. The engine would only run while the primer bulb was being pumped. After lots of visits from mechanic, it was finally determined that the high pressure fuel pump had failed. Volvo did not believe it because that part is “bullit Proof” and “never fails”. After lots of back and forth conversations, Volvo finally agreed to replace part under extended warranty. Am glad I had that coverage, the pump is a $3000+ part!
