Hi all,

Has anyone tried one of the deionized water systems from rinsing their boats? Which models have you used and were you happy with the result? I'm looking at getting either the CR Di-20 or Di-120 depending what can fit into the slip locker.

We've been using "On The Go OTG2-DDI Duel Bed Standard Deionizer" available from:

Fits in our slip locker and used in conjunction with a water meter (https://www.amazon.com/P3-P0550-Water-M ... B0058EOC5M), it's easy to keep track of how much water the system has deionized and get a sense for when the resins need to be replaced.

Thanks for the reminder to re-order the resins. =)

edit: Didn't respond to the part about results. When we first got our boat into the slip, I made the mistake of washing down our boat with our marina water and didn't bother drying it off. Our marina water has anywhere from 200-400ppm and left all kinds of water spots all over the boat/windows/stainless rails. It was pretty bad. Now, with the deionizer, the water we use to rinse the boat has 10-20ppm and the boat remains spotless once the water dries. When we get back from an outing, it takes 10-15 minutes to quickly rinse down the boat without needing to wipe everything down! So, 100% happy. =)
