Dear Tugnutters,
If you or someone you know is interested in a hiring a delivery captain, please pass along my name! I am available to deliver Ranger and Cutwater boats, provide instruction on navigation, rules of the road, maintenance, or for just general boat life. I have USCG Master 50-ton near coastal license credentialing. I’ve owned, lived aboard, and delivered boats on the Chesapeake Bay and surrounding bodies of water. I’ve moved boats on the water from Baltimore to Connecticut several times bringing folks to Block Island and Martha’s Vineyard, and I’ve boated on waters from the Florida Pan Handle and Key West to the Schoodic Peninsula in Maine. I’ve also taken my own Ranger Tug to the Bahamas. I have experience with semi-displacement, full-displacement and plaining hulled vessels. In addition to over 35 years of experience on the water and having done all repairs and maintenance for my own boats over the years, I’ve taken a diesel mechanic course and have been employed as a mechanic working on two and four-stroke engines.
