Depth finder

The depth finder is flashing “2.4 feet” nonstop on our 2022 Ranger 27 OB. It worked flawlessly last summer. Would appreciate any help or suggestions. Thank you.

The fluid has most likely leaked out of the transducer.

On my cruise to St Michael's last week I was troubled to note that my depth sounder, too, was stuck at 5.7 feet. It had worked flawlessly last year and this season up until then. I have a Ranger R-31S. Does anyone have any additional thoughts on repair? I had the boat pulled and the hull cleaned in April. Could the transducer face be fouled? Where is the transducer on an R-31? I should know, but I simply haven't noticed it in the year I've owned the boat. Thanks in advance.

Nevermind. My first search missed the posts that had suggested two possible locations for the transducer on a 2016 R-31S. I'll check those locations.
