Desolation Sound Charts

We always like to carry paper charts and have ones for the San Juans down to Tacoma but we do not have any yet for heading up into the Gulf Islands, Desolation Sound etc. We do have the Garmin Canadian SD card as well as the Waggoner Cruising Guide and the Salish Sea Guide for the Gulf Islands but the proper paper charts seem like a must have for heading into Canada. What do or have others done for paper charts for cruising north into Canada? What would you recommend?

I think the one I have addresses the Desolation Sound area, I will check it tomorrow and if it is good, you can borrow it.

Just an additional piece of information, if you check the Canadian CG requirements they require Canadian approved charts to be aboard. In the 40 some years I have been going to Canada, they have never asked me to show their charts.

CHS puts out small craft paper compilations that are great for this area - 3313 for the Gulf Islands and 3312 for the Desolation Sound area. They are spiral-bound and a more convenient size than the full size paper ones. Check out MapTown for online orders (approx $90 per set)
 
I tried buying the appropriate paper charts 2 years ago when at Gorge Harbour. Unfortunately they were out of stock. Don't rely on getting them at Gorge Harbour is my advice.
 
Thanks everyone for your suggestions, really looking forward to getting on the water and away from the prepping and planning.
