Diesel fuel fill cap

Where can I purchase a replacement "DIESEL" fuel fill cap?

Mine enjoyed the Spring weather and went swimming. Thanks!

We purchased a fuel cap thru Ranger/Cutwater parts department. There is a parts form on the tugnuts home page. We purchased an extra cap just in case . We had to disconnect the chain form the cap because most fuel nozzles did not fit with the chain connected.

For just that eventuality (lost cap), I got a 1.25-inch NPT galvanized pipe plug. Fits the water, waste and fuel inlets....just in case.

I had to dive into icy cold Lake Michigan for my fuel cap. And a story to go along with it- I tossed in the anchor to use to get to the bottom quickly; after some time searching, I found the cap and somehow got my leg (I had fins on) wrapped around the anchor rope. So now I'm on the bottom of the harbor with the cap in one hand and only one hand to free my leg from the rope. I wasn't about to drop the cap again!! Luckily I have good lung capacity- finally got untangled and to the surface. Needless to say, I ordered a spare cap and replacement O rings. :shock:
