Diesel vent cap replacement R27 2017

Hi,

I have a 2017 R27 Ranger Tug with Inboard Diesel Volvo Penta D3 200.

I have been trying to find a replacement diesel vent cap and its been impossible to get a straight amswer from the dealer or manufacturer. I already ordered 2 that cost me quite a bit.

Any other owner that knows exactly the part? The internal threading is 3/8’s size, the cap itself its about 1.75 infches

Didn't know that the vent caps was removable. You probably just need to buy a new vent and remove the cap and replace, but it sounds like you'v already done that.

Thank you, but trying to find the actual part number or squ, even if i have to buy the whole thing and just keep the vent cap.

Mine needs to be replaced soon. Found this at West Marine. Not sure if it’s exactly the same as yours but there are many more knock offs from China on Amazon with the same dimensions. You can also get it without the 90 degree bend.

I purchased an extra one for my C28 direct from the factory. I realize they no longer sell parts directly but if you contact them either directly by phone or here under the "Ask the factory " forum they are generally very good at getting the source information to you.
You can use the "Tags List" post under the forum to help them address your question quickly.
