dinghy seats

I have a R27 RIB 8' factory issue dinghy and would like to know about seats that can be installed. Looks like there are some straps on each side inside the dinghy for some kind of slip in bench seats? Any suggestions/ideas would e helpful.

I purchased a us d RIB 290 and it came with int bench. There are two locations to attach the seat. Not sure if it was meant to have one or two. I just sit on the side on the aft by the motor and my wife sits on the bench in the front position.

I have the same dingy as the OP. Mine was delivered with one seat (fiberglass bench), although it can be located in two places. I keep it forward for better weight distribution (where I sit). The ends have a keyway groove formed into them so that they slide over the 'strips' on either side of the dingy tubes to hold it up. It would be difficult to make a replacement. I would see if Ranger Tugs parts dept. can source one for you.
