If you wanted some upgrades on a Ranger, can the factory do that? I am thinking bow thruster or other items.

Not their policy unless the used Ranger Tug has been traded in to them as they get the trade in ready for sale.
Of course if you wanted to pay them $3,000 an hour for their labor and 10x their parts cost they might be willing to make an exception.

Hi Harley,

So maybe it wouldn't be quite as drastic as the 3000 per hour that scross mentioned, 😀 but he is right that we are not set up to do any upgrade work or similar on any of our boats. We are a manufacturing facility and really don't have the capability to do that. Scross is also right that we do service the boats that we get on trade in, but that is not done by the regular factory staff, but our service department. They are also not set up to do upgrade type work, but support warranty for the customers who buy our Tugs directly from us. Sorry that we're not able to help but thanks for asking, and hope you enjoy your Tug!

To add to this the factory has worked with and knows a lot of local Puget Sound Marine repair/installers, that they can refer someone too. I recently asked the factory about someone they’d recommend to install a diesel heater and they referred me to Phil at Everett Yacht Service. My personal opinion is a referral is better then just picking someone at random.
