Just bought a lovely 21 Classic after days and days of negotiation with the broker. The price came way down, but the boat is lovely and though it has the small engine and cabin I'm happy that at worst its a nice entry level go slow tug and at best, maybe a boat I'll keep a long time. I need to get it out on all kinds of water. It will see time on Lake Powell, floating the snake between Lewiston and Portland as well as Yellowstone and San Diego bay with a helping of the Sacramento Delta. I'd also like to get it back east and do at least a small portion of the Erie canal. Big ideas, bit dreams, but some of that will get done. I've gotten some nice help already from the tubnuts, and hope to get a bunch more.

Hello Harry,

CONGRATULATIONS! You will be thrilled with the 21.

At 5-8 mph cruise speed you have plenty of time to enjoy the ride and scenery.

Keep the Tugnuts informed of your travels.

Well done Harry. You WILL enjoy the R-21.

We were out on ours the other day in the Seattle area. Temps reach up to low 60ºF which was a record I believe for our area. I took my son and family out for a few hours and had lunch at a waterside cafe.

My granddaughter took charge in a heart beat... her first boating experience. She was thrilled. The R-21 was just her size as well, so she wasn't frightened at all.
