The door latch on my C28 has come off the glass door. It appears to be epoxied on with some one or two part adhesive.anyone out there have any experience reattaching the latch?

I also have a C28 and this was a frustrating problem for me as well. I repaired several times using Gorilla Glue or Super Glue and it still kept falling off. After speaking with our dealer, they suggested 3M 5200 silicone. I followed their advice and it works.

The door catch came loose the first day we had our new 2016 Cutwater C-24. Rather than trying various adhesives to re-attach it to the cabin door, we made an L-shaped metal fixture that attached to the edge of the metal frame of the door with two self-tapping screws, after carefully drilling two holes in the door frame. The original metal catch was attached to this fixture using two screws, after drilling holes through the catch and drilling and tapping holes in the fixture. We put a rubber sheet between the back of the fixture and the cabin door, to protect the glass from shock when engaging the catch with the latch to hold the door open. Pictures are attached.

Had this also happen a few years ago. one of the screws was still holding while one had no holding power at all. Ended up using a pop rivet to replace the bad screw. And besides when the door is open no one can see it....
