Downrigger mounts R21-EC

The rail mounts work very well and saves drilling holes in the fiberglass. I have found mounting the downriggers app.
two or three feet forward of the transom works very well. Scotty makes a great product. I would recommend using the braided line rather than the stainless steel cable which will eventually rust. I had that happen and lost a weight.

It's never any fun losing gear. Where we fish it is essential to be
in contact with the bottom for MOST of the season.
 
One other quick thought. Use the Scotty Green snubbers which come in 18 and 30 inch lengths.
