Need advise or comments from folks that have put their Ranger "on the beach". We aren't beaching ours, but we have an opportunity to moor it in 18" of water below our house. We are on tidal estuary with 18" of freshwater creek at low tide, and well over 14' at high tide. The creek is sandy bottom. The plan it to face the boat bow into the current. We installed two marine embedment anchors (bow and stern) to keep the boat within the channel as the tide goes out. Does anyone have experience with their Ranger in 18" of water? I thought a few people had mentioned mooring their boats below their houses, and some said that their moorings go dry a few times per year at extreme low tides (-2 to -3). We are wondering what the list would be, roughly. Any comments or experiences, pro and con, would be appreciated.
