DVD stuck in Majestic LED TV

We just bought a previously owned 2013 R27. The very first time that we inserted a DVD into the slot on the side of the TV, we got a message which said " no disk". We pushed the eject button on the remote but there is just a whirring sound and the DVD does not eject. Has anyone had this issue?

There is an eject button on the side by the DVD slot, try that.

Tried the eject button with no luck. I guess I will have to contact the manufacturer. Thanks for the suggestion.

This has happened when a DVD was pushed into the slot with the power being on to the unit; like some home models that will auto-turn on when a disk is inserted. Use the remote to turn on the unit and make certain the green LED is on at the bottom left corner of the TV. Then use the menu button on the top of the TV to chose DVD and use the eject button on the remote. Make certain that the remote has fresh batteries in it.
