OK ,,, maybe avatar is not the right thing, but was going to put a photo or a line drawing of the boat on the 'signature' or whatever it is called for postings ... I see it on other folks' stuff ... on other forums I do that with Avatar ,,, how do you guys do it?

Go to your User Control Panel > Profile tab > Edit signature
You can use the g2Img tags if you have a photo album which contains the image you want to use. Or, you con use the Img tags to use an image in another publicly available location on the web (i.e. Google Photos, Amazon Photos, iCloud, DropBox, etc.
Photo albums on Tugnuts can be used if they are already populated with images. New images can’t be added currently.
