ELCI Breaker Works but ELCI Light is Off

I was messing about in my RT31s today and noticed that the ac main light for the 30amp ELCI breaker was on but the ELCI light was off. AC seems to me fine but I’m wondering what turns the ELCI light on or off? I can’t find a manual that explains this from BlueSea.
