On the 12V breaker panel (located above step to vee berth) one of the breakers is labeled "cabin lights". However all of the lighting functions per the light switch diagram provided in the owner's manual. The breaker does not defeat any of those switches and appears to have no function. It does have a blue wire connected to the load side of the breaker. Can anyone tell me if/what the breaker is connected to? It has never been turned on since I've had the boat and everything works. I'm just asking because I'd like to use the breaker for other purposes. Also it would be nice to know where the blue wire goes that is currently landed on the breaker.

Dan,

The breaker you noted "cabin lights" on our R25 controls the v-berth lamps.

Thanks, Mike. The one item I didn't think to check. I did test the similar fixtures in the cabin and found they are wired to a fuse in the little panel inside the dash compartment. Guess I erroneously assumed all of the locally controlled lights were on the same circuit. Believe it or not our entire boating season we never use any of the cabin lights. II guess if we'd ever tried to use the lights in the vee berth we'd have figured it out.

You should be able to move the blue wire for the forepeak lights to the fuse rack for the cabin lights with the loss of function.
