I have a receptical under the table in the cabin with no power. I removed the receptical and checked the wires and no power All breakers on the panel are on . Does anyone know where the wires go from this receptical? I thought they might have fed from the GFI by the sink but no.
Thanks

I also have a R29, Bounce II, with the same issue. I look forward to an answer.

One would think it'd be in Here but there's no AC wiring diagrams, only DC.

We have an R27 so it may not be quite the same but in our case the plug is a safety plug. If yours is you may need to reset it by pushing the RESET button in the center of the plug. If you have more then one leg to this line then look to see if you have another plug that has a reset button to reset. Let us know if this works or what the final outcome is.

In my 29 the plug in question is not a GFI just a standard I may start digging today to see if I can find a source
I do not know if it ever worked which has me thinking it may have supposed to have fed from the GFI near the sink and perhaps got missed during construction I will report my findings

Found it There is a GFI in the Mid cabin that feeds the receptical under the table. Dennis most likly this is your problem something may have pushed the test button and tripped the GFI There should be a small light illuminated on the GFI If you push the reset button and it fails to come on you may need to replace the GFI they tend to break ,
Another mystery solved 🙂

Good catch Jim, anything after the GFI which is on the load side will be protected by the GFI so if it goes out then any subsequent outlet connected will also go out.

The GFI which controls the outlet under the dinette is in the mid-cabin on our boat. Enjoy tracing the electrical diagrams...I know I have!

The GFI feeding the Vizio TV got taken out during my lightning strike on Ladybug, Too. I tried to reset it but to no avail. However, my luck improved and the TV survived the strike. I don't think the DVD Player survived. GFI's do fail and should be replaced with a GFI. Every 120 VAC outlet on a boat should be GFI protected. Good luck on the wiring! I think I have the 6th R-29 built so the manual doesn't cover many items on my particular version. I am really getting a lesson after getting hit but, over all, I like the way Ranger does things.

Grandpa Mark and Bud,

You are right! Problem solved, the GFI was in the mid-cabin. We went out today In the San Joaquin / Sacramgento delta region here in northern California. Had a great day. Solved the problem with the switch below the dinette and then proceeded to sheer the rear thruster pin.... I guess I will now have to learn how to replace the pin. No rest for the weary.

The thruster pin is not bad just a bit cramped There is a tool you should have to remove the bolts I didn't have but ground down an allen key and although slow worked fine
Good luck 🙂

Just a note, guys, but technically those are GFCIs. They interrupt the Circuit, stopping the ground fault from leaking. I worked an engineering project concerning them back when they were almost a novelty and a household one had to reside in the electrical panel. They have come a long way since then. GFI has become the common term somehow, so I will cut you some slack (like any of you give a d...:lol🙂. Maybe it was to save ink and breath. But I think you will find most of the boxes still say GFCI.
