Electro Strainer or Clearline installations

Has anyone had any experience with either of the Electro Sea products: Electro Strainer or Clearline on your boat?

In Maryland and south, where marine growth is a significant challenge, these devices purport to keep the A/C, heads, generator and wash down systems better protected.

I've installed a flush kit just after the strainer, so each time I flush the engine, I also leave the seacock open to flush the stainer back. It's worked for me in WA water, strainer stays perfectly clean.
