Maureen and I are now at Seatac awaiting our flight back to Las Vegas. I fly off to Honolulu in the morning, Maureen gets a trip to Reno (man, she is so lucky!).

We spent our last weekend of the 2010 boating season in Bell Harbor. We truly enjoy being in the city to see the sights. We spent Saturday wandering about town checking out all the little stores and markets. The trip back to Port Orchard was a bit on the bumpy side as we had southerly winds at 20 knots. The sea's were only three to four although we had two of those rogue waves that must have been around six. All in all though, it was not a bad ride.

It is going to be almost a full month before we return to Karma. This will be the longest period we have been away. We went through and double and triple checked everything, Refrigerator on, water pressure off, Heater on low, doors locked. Motor fresh water flushed, through hull closed. Water tank filled, holding tank emptied. And of course, Karma was bathed and dried before we left her. She is ready to start the new year!

The past year has been incredible. We have seen many great sights and met many great people. We thank you for allowing us to be part of your community and all of the great times this past year.

We wish each and everyone of you a great holiday season and a wonderful New Year!

See you next year!

Hi David & Maureen,

To both of you, thank you for your myriad of posts (many with great info for us new boaters) and also for organizing all those awesome cruises and get togethers/rendezvous this past year.

Happy Holidays to you both. Enjoy Alaska, it is great scenery up there.

Maureen, don't be too disappointed in having to go to Reno. I was born and raised there---it is a beautiful large small city with several world class (and one Olympic class) ski areas in less than one hour driving time. And also remember, Reno is also the home of that fabulous football team that graciously ended Boise State's 24 game win streak 😀 (it was the longest in the nation at that time) and solved a major problem this bowl season for that very infamous college football BCS committee.

We look forward to your friendship and hope to join you a few times in 2011.

Most certainly meeting you two, joining the Points North Cruise and attending the 2010 Tugfest at Bremerton certainly will show up in the highlight reel of our year!!

Thank you for everything that you do for this group and thank you for your friendship. The crew of That's It extends its wishes for Christmas Blessings and the Happiest of New Years to the crew of Karma!!
