I posted this earlier in the general discussion but thought perhaps the factory folks could provide a recommendation.
The insulation on the starboard side of my engine compartment has worked its way loose. This is a foil faced foam type and was apparently glued to the wall. While I noticed that the lid and port side pieces of insulation were secured with adhesive AND screws, the port side was only glued.
What type of adhesive should I utilize to resecure this insulation, as it is bare foam on the backside? I know some products will deteriorate the foam. Is it possible to place a few washers and screws (nuts and bolts?) into the side of the lazerette compartment without any problems to help hold it in place?
Any advice is appreciated!
