Engine heater

I plan to buy a small electric heater for my Penta engine on my 2020 c28. Can someone tell me where I plug it in to a 120 outlet. I believe that the cord would be run out of the access hatch in the cabin. Also I believe that the heater would be place in an area in back of the engine. Please advise

If you can access your inverter easily from the engine bay there could be an outlet on that. Thats what I do.

I had the dealer install, but they installed a double 120V receptacle in the starboard lazarette, and then mounted the heater into the little shelf by the generator on the port side.

i run the power cable through the bulkhead. there is a small hole at the bottom between engine and cabin into the interior hatch where the fuel tank is on my boat. (your layout may be different) then I run the cable up to the 110v socket in the galley.

My dealer installed an Xtreme. After reading about enough boat fires, that's also what I purchased for the cabin for the winter. My engine compartment hasn't gotten below about 40' regardless of outside temp (in Washington DC).
