Thanks for all your anwsers. Lets say all my battery cables are on correctly, tight and battery fully charged. The smart start system still says ABORT. What's next should I do? Thanks everybody

Time to call the Smart Start technician and ask what the message means...

You just know this is going to be something little and silly but it will probably cost you a bunch of $$$ to find it out. Of course, you will never forget it until your dying day and will just be sitting patiently for someone, someday to ask the very same question so you can get your $$$ worth by looking like a genius.
