Engine warning light

While out this weekend with my 2013 R25SC the red warning lite would come on and the warning buzzer as is normal when starting until the oil pressure clears. However, now the red light stays on very dim while running. All engine parameter's appear to be normal as well as oil level. What could be causing this?

I experience the same condition. I believe this is normal.

Mine is also illuminated when on, but dimmer than when you first start the engine and the oil pressure is low.

If you guys have Yanmar engines there is a fix for it from Yanmar. It is a bridge diode that plugs in in series with the warning light. I have one but turns out that was not my particular problem so it is in the "kit" I carry on the boat. Ask your dealer. You should be able to get the diode at no charge. If you don't have Yanmars then ignore this.
