Just wanted to share my exceptional service experience on my 2009 R25 Classic from Bellingham Yachts yesterday and today.
Josh, Mark and the rest of the service crew were communicative, professional and highly competent!
We had a 900 hour service done on our Yanmar 4BY2 on Thursday. Everything was completed quickly. We had the transmission fluid changed, the stuffing box serviced, oil and oil filter changed and the impeller replaced. They carefully inspected all hoses and belts. The pricing for the service was in line with less impressive and efficient shops.
On Thursday they also started work on our leaking toilet in the head. They fixed the leak but that turned out to be a symptom of a larger problem. Today they basically tore the entire toilet apart. They removed a decade of calcification and hard as a rock crud from inside the pipes. The hose from the toilet to the black water tank also had to be replaced for the same reason. The work was done in a logical manner as they kept getting deeper into the problem. I was extremely impressed with how they did the work and their commitment to get us back on the water promptly. The Domitec MasterFlow 8112 now works like it did the day we bought the boat 6 years ago.
As Arnold S. famously said, “I’ll be back!”
And no, I’m not affiliated with Bellingham Yachts in any manner.
