I was looking out the window from the hospital in Gainesville ,Fla. I seen a C-Dory right in front of the hospital. That was the bright spot of my day. We were there for the removal of lump in Dee's breast. Today it was confirmed. Dee has b-cell Lymphoma. It was pretty scarey, It was explained that it is not the bad stuff. It usually is completely cured. close to 100%. But to be safe she must have six months of chemo and once a day radiation for 3 weeks.
She will fly home with my Daughter Cherie, back to Montana on the 16th ( Next week) to start her treatment. She wants to be home. Tomarrow she will have the PET/CT scan which is a tell all where these B cells are. They feel it is only in the one spot.

The Lucky Fin continues to wait in Mims.

I'm sure there are so many of us out here wishing Dee and you the very best. I , for one, value your many inputs on all issues, a sign of a generous and good person, i think. And that must be true of you and Dee too..So, tell her we are thinking of her, and wish her the most rapid recovery and "back to the boat"....

Captd and Miss Dee,
The good lord takes good care of all of those that take care of their fellow human beings. From what I have read that you have posted, I think you fit into that category. My wife, Maureen, and I are true believers that all things in life happen for a reason. We may not understand today why they happen but there is a reason it is happening.

Live today as if it is your last. You will not be given a second chance at today. Each day that you wake and can stand under your own power is going to be a good day.

Don't let this get you down, life is truly too short to waste our time worrying about things that we cannot control nor change.

Our thoughts and prays are with you.

David and Maureen

Our best wishes are with you - Dee & Darrel -

Captd.
Just remember that there are a lot of us out here with Dee and you in our thoughts and prayers. Being one of the lucky ones to have met you at Hontoon last year, I remember your smiles and enjoyment of your time. Continue these and may the Lord bring a speedy recovery.

Update: Arrived back in Montana Tuesday night with the Lucky Fin. The fishing buddy that was going to go to the Abacos with me decided to help me drive home. We done 500 to 600 miles a day and it took 5 days. The Lucky Fin now sets in my front yard covered with dirt and mud. It is snowing right now. It was 23 degrees going over Pipe Stone pass In Montana. Light snow for the last 500 miles. Dee had flew home with my Daughter and has had a port installed in her shoulder for chemo. Lymphoma was found in three other areas besides her breast. It was said to be early stage 4. It showed up in the breast after the fatty lump was taken out last summer. The good thing is it was brought to our attention because of the fatty tissue. She starts chemo on the 6 th.

Thank you all for your prayers and support.
