Exploding Sink

So we returned to the boat recently to find broken blue glass in the sole of our stateroom and all over the bathroom floor and counters. Apparently our beautiful tempered glass sink exploded! A google search turns up other examples of this happening, albeit rarely I'm sure. Wanted to post it here so folks are aware that this is a possibility (we never suspected this could happen). Scary to think about this happening while brushing our teeth or sitting on the throne :-(

Questions to the factory:
1) do you sell, or can you point us to suppliers, who can provide a similar sink but something other than tempered glass? (something non-breakable is VERY appealing at the moment, like stainless steel)
2) can you confirm the size to help us order something that fits properly in this space?

Curious to explore our options and be able to use a bathroom sink again soon!

FYI, Ranger parts team gave me the following info about the sink => Renovator's Supply, item #12892 https://www.rensup.com/bathroom/cou...ain-frosted-blue-tempered-glass-mini-bowl-sin

To be honest, items #12896 and #13769 look like a closer match to our original sink since I believe we had a smooth blue glass bowl, with no patterns in the glass like #12892 shows. In any case, we will follow up with them to see about warranty support and what our options are.
