Extending Cockpit Fresh Water Shower Hose

Has anyone tackled extending the fresh water shower hose by the transom door? Mine comes out about 1 ft, which means I'd have to lay my head on the floor to use it :roll: I dive so it'd be nice to have a good hose length for rinsing off.

I have the R29 CB.

It is caught, should come out 5-6 feet.

My shower hose was twisted, as well. You can reach it/untwist it from the starboard lazarette.

Thanks for the insights and mystery solved. The shower hose had been included under a zip tie that was securing cables and pipes going through the stern wall. I applied another zip tie over the group, excluding the shower hose, and then cut the old zip tie. I now have a proper length shower hose on the swim step!
