exterior hatch cleaning

On our R27 (4 years old) I've begun to notice the white, I'm assuming plastic, exterior frame around the glass on the roof hatches is starting to develop some staining. Has anyone else experienced this and if so what have you used to clean the discoloration and or sealed it?
