Exterior Rod Holders

Anyone mount any exterior Rod holders on the R-25 (or other RT)? Looking for any recommendations on Rail mounts or other mounts to hold Fishing Rods and Nets!

If a Cutwater is close enough, I just attached a couple of stainless steel rod mounts to the swim platform rails on our C28. When i got them Fluid Motion was still handling parts so I just ordered from them, but they are very easy to find online.

I have two rod holders on the grab rail on each side.

Like Eachtra 27, we run two stainless "rocket launcher"-type holders on each side of the bimini frame of our R27. These holders work well for getting rods, nets, and our downrigger leash retrievers out of the way when we're under way, docked, or at anchor.



If you're asking about rod holders to use while fishing, I installed Burnewiin sockets where the factory rod holders were and use Burnewiin holders. The net hangs out on the swim step staple where it's easy to get to.

Manifish from Amazon, about $40 each. Cheap and work well.

If you are just looking to get rods and nets out of the way, I use a SeaSucker 3-rod holder. Rods go straight up so I don't worry about them when docking.

I sought this model out because the rail clamp is welded to the lower end of the tube, keeping the holder higher on the bimini frame and out of the way. I mounted the rod holders aligned with the bimini supports/handrails so their pretty unobtrusive but still really functional.
