In my R-25SC only the aft two red chart lights come on with the breaker switch labelled Chart Light on the panel. The forward three lights do not come on. All other lights are working. Any suggestion of why this is happening or ideas for trouble shooting would be appreciated.

This sounds like a lame answer but it works. start with a volt meter and see where you start getting power. Also, you may want to switch a working bulb with one that is not working to see if it is a coincidence that all three went out. You will be surprised, a lot of times just removing a bulb and putting it back in works because of corrosion that may have built up. Sometimes it is just as simple as that.

You can also remove the overhead panel where the aft two lights are located. The wiring for the three forward lights that are out run aft and are spliced in with the two aft lights. This might be a case where the wire came loose at the splice. If you have any further questions you can email me direct at kennymarrs@rangertugs.com

Thanks,

Thanks for the responses. I did remove the overhead panel and found that the hot wire, between the aft two and forward three lights, was either cleanly cut or perhaps never spliced. A simple splice of this wire sovled the problem.
