Hi,

I don't use the electric grill that came with OH Well!! I do like the cooler / live well that is under the transom cover. I think the female fitting at the bottom of the cooler is 1 1/4". I also think it maybe a fine thread versus a coarse thread as found on PVC parts. Can you tell me what the size and thread is on that fitting? Can't find a male fitting for a standpipe I would like to have when using the cooler/ live well.

Thanks in advance,

Oh WEll !!

Hi,

The pipe that goes to the livewell is a 1 1/2 inch thread. Not sure but assume that would be coarse thread. Best thing to do would be to use the overflow pipe to match whatever thread you want to use. That way you can be sure. Hope this helps.

Cheers,

Ralf

Hi Ralf, I think there is a bit of confusion about which threaded hole in the live well I was referencing. I agree that there is a 1 1/2" (without measuring it), this is the fitting on the side of the live well for water and if using electric grill to get to the outlet. Yes when using the live well it does drain into the aft sump area. Not interested in pumping into the hull.

I was referencing the drain at the bottom of the live well. the fitting that will go into that female threaded part is 1 1/4". I have confirmed that with a PVC 1 1/4" male by 1 /1/2" slip fitting. What I have done is using that fitting and attaching a short piece of 1 1/2" PVC pipe created a mini tub when using it as a cooler. As ice melts it basically creates a tub pf ice and water that seems to keep beverages cooler longer.

Regards,
Oh Well!!
