Fifth Wheel Hitches

Does the factory offer trailers with fifth wheel hitches? If not, does anyone have one and where did they purchase it?

Especially for the bigger boats (R29s, C30s, R31s), fifth wheel trailers sure would be safer, wouldn't they? Any disadvantages over a regular hitch, other than their extra cost and the cost of installing a fifth wheel in the pickup?

You can haul more weight with less truck with a fifth wheel, and I suspect you can avoid having to get an "A" class license.
the one big thing for me would be the loss of storage in the back of the truck. I suppose, given you could haul more you could load the boat up more to make up for that. but not as accessible.
My trailer is made by Tuff Trailers in Washington, They have fifth wheel boat trailers on their web site . I also think you would need to back a lot farther into the water to load and unload as the boat will be a lot closer to back of the truck.
