Looking to buy R27
After being Tugnuts for years. We just purchased a like new 2023 R27 with only 45 hours on her. We are so excited to be a part of this community. Looking forward to many adventures and long lasting memories. Jeff and Laura Michigan

Welcome!!

We are enjoying our R27 and believe you will also.

We love our R27 too and we put 140hrs on it during our first summer last year, so yours has barely even seen water.

Check to see if your first Yamaha service was completed. Oil change and lower unit are due at 20hrs I believe. Boat needs to be hauled out so if it’s still out of the water maybe do it asap if it hasn’t been done to save the haul out costs.

R27 is an awesome boat. Our biggest hurdles with it are smaller things like there are no usable rails to mount BBQs to. Dinghy and dinghy motor strategies are compromises regardless of what you choose.

Do people keep BBQs in the rod holders while underway?

We do not keep our BBQ in the rod holder underway. We found the rod holder BBQ system could not hold the BBQ while underway. We were lucky and the BBQ fell into the cockpit and not overboard.

We ordered a custom integrity trailer and will be keeping boat on it when not in slip. So maintenance and winterization will be something I will perform. I am a hands on owner and prefer to do the maintenance on all my watercraft and RV’s.

We had an Integrity Trailer under our R25SC and now have one under our R29S. They are great trailers.
