After buying our boat in October, indoor heated storage all winter, we finally got "God Speed" launched and our first destination was the diesel dock/pump out! That went well!
We had friends on board so we decided to go out onto the lake for our maiden voyage, water on Lake Erie was cold, 38 degrees and the water was not pretty but it was a long winter!
Any chance to get out was good, Our first impression of driving our Cutwater was very pleasing as to how she handled the wind and waves, good fuel economy and nice ride!
We had a nice trip and brought her back to the dock without incident, nice change going from sail to power!
We are still learning the boat, one of the improvements I would like to add is a chart/book rack.
I purchased one from Defender, 12x4x14 for our other boat and would like to ad it to this boat, not sure if anyone has added something similar or where they put it?
