As previously listed on the TUGNUTS site, the 2011 New England Ranger Tug Rendesvous is scheduled for June 10-12. The event is being sponsored by Wylde Yachts and Winter Island Yachts. Information about the event and registration forms can be obtained by contacting Susan Morrison of Wylde Yachts. Susan's e-mail is semcare1@aol.com. You can also speak to her directly at 860-767-2540. My wife and I will be attending and plan to sail from Dennis,MA to Newport,RI, overnight and then arrive in Essex on 10 June. If other Tugs are covering the same route, we might be able to convoy. Hoping to see you there.

Hi John,

Thanks for posting this invite to the 1st Annual Northeast Ranger Tugs Rendezvous. We have put the information on our Website and will update as we get more info.

We are looking forward to seeing a lot of Ranger Tugs (and TugNuts) in one spot and have heard from many who plan to attend. The schedule is still developing – but we already know there will be presentations (on engine maintenance, boating safety and emergency procedures, Garmin electronics and more) – and also food, cocktails, a cruise/parade, and the list keeps growing.

By the end of the weekend, we hope that the owners will have decided to form and name a Northeast owners association, elected a Commodore, and decided where and when next year’s Rendezvous will be held. This is the kickoff for what we hope will be a long-running tradition.

Cheers,
Peter

I just found out I will be in Seattle that week for work so we won't be able to travel there in our 2007 R25, Nauti Dream based out of Hazlet, NJ. However, we will be driving up on that Saturday since my flight returns Friday night. I am really looking forward to meeting all the other Ranger Tug owners. It should be a lot of fun.

We have had a death in the family and we will be unable to attend. We were really looking forward to it. We will be there next year though.

Hi Ranger Tug Owners and fans. So far we have had only 10 people signed for the Rendezvous June 10, 11 and 12. This number represents 5 families. We need to tell the caterer the number of people who wll be coming to the event by Friday June 3, 2011.

If you are planning to attend, you MUST call Susan Morrison and get the Rendezvous package so we know who will be coming for the events, dinner and other activities.

We have a full schedule of events starting on Friday at 3 with a fire fighting demo.

We need to have all of you check in with us at Wilde yacht Sales so we can plan to have a fun and fruitful event for you!!
Thanks,
Bill Boyer

I will be attending the rendezvous and look forward to meeting everyone there!

Congratulations to Ida Ucci and Peggy Shea on winning a Ranger Tugs jacket with their boat name on it. (I know their were a couple other winners, but Andrew didn't give me their names) It would be great to get pictures of Ida and Peggy's boat name so I can try and match the font on the embroidery. I can be reached at h.gearheart@gearheartembroidery.com .

thank you

Fellow tuggers, congratulations on making the first New England Ranger Tugs Rendezvous a success. It was such a pleasure to meet all of you and I hope you enjoyed the workshops and festivities as much as I did. I've posted the proofs from the photos at the links listed below. You can right click on any image in the gallery, and download a high resolution, printable version free of charge as a courtesy of Wilde Yacht Sales. For your convenience, we've also enabled print ordering as well (downloads are free, prints have a small fee to cover the cost of printing and shipping). I'm working on a collage that I will post within the next week. Again, congratulations on partaking in this historic event.

Nice shots. Thanks for posting. Looks like good times, good food, and good learning. And, good to see Andrew putting out fires, as usual.

Cheers
