We took our first long cruise on the Columbia River with our C30. I will post some of my questions in separate threads.

We have always had sloppy steering. I have always attributed it to having a power boat, with lots of prop wash and a relatively small rudder. On the way to Cathlamet, the steering became very bad. I was able to find hydraulic fluid (after much discussion with Cutwater and Uflex), fill and bleed, and now are steering is better than ever.

We anchored using our New Rocna 15K, and the boat did well, including keeping the batteries up without any outside charging.

We truly love our cockpit enclosure, as it makes another cabin for the boat and allows us to stretch out.

Our RIB with the Torqeedo also worked well for us, although the Admiral sometimes wanted extended range and speed.

I will have comments/questions on boat level and trim/use of trim tabs. Head odors and issues. Anchor light switches. How to secure anchor rode and comments on anchor swivels.

All in all, once the steering issue was settled, the boat did very well and we were comfortable. Our biggest negative issue had to do with our dogs, and I won't blame that on Cutwater.
