Flounder fishing

Does anybody specifically fish for flounder in the San Juans?

If so, I'd love to learn from those of you who do it regularly.

A few questions:

• What species are you usually catching?
• What bait works best?
• Do artificials work well, and if so, what kind?
• What rig do you use?
• What line and leader size?
• What depth are you fishing?
• Are you looking for sand, mud, gravel, eelgrass edges, or some other type of bottom?
• Any particular areas around the San Juans that consistently produce?

Anything you're willing to share would be greatly appreciated. I'm looking to learn and would appreciate any tips from those who've already figured them out.
