Does anyone use Saltaway to flush their outboard and or rinse the boat after being in saltwater?

I use it on my 32’ Cutwater. Works well. Have not used it as an engine flush, but plan to.

We use it to rinse the boat after every trip. It works great.

We use it to rinse the boat after trips. Just prior to our last 10 day trip through the islands, we had the hull waxed. It was gleaming when we left for our trip. It was all spotty and salt crusty when we returned. A good rinse with Salt-Away brought it back to gleaming.

We buy the cheaper West Marine brand (which is likely exactly the same stuff with a different label).

West Marine's Salt Off has an additional ingredient, PTEF®, which provides a protective coating to prevent future salt damage. PTEF is founding a number of marine detailing products, but not Salt Away.

Used salt away for many years. Always flush the engine with fresh water for 10 to 15 min, then follow with salt away for the amount of time from the label. Its a great product. I also use it to clean the hull on the boat....

Seems like a great idea for flushing salt from the engine but I’ve seen some videos that report SaltAway ( or like products) can remove boat wax and possibly protective ceramic coating, When I return home from a trip I usually just hand wash the boat with a good quality boat soap and rinse. Anyone have any issues with these issues?
