FM Radio Antenna

I have a 2011 R-29 with a Fusion FM radio/CD player. The FM radio gets no reception, which appears to be an antenna issue. The radio antenna input line has a coaxial cable inserted in it, but from there I cannot trace the input cable. Any help out there?

Its just a little inexpensive wire monpole antenna . For better reception 4' external Marine AM/FM would improve things dramatically . Sometimes if you reorient the small wire antenna it helps .

There is a small wire coming out of that coax antenna input running over to the gunnel on the outboard side of the hanging locker. It may be pulled loose or not attached.

I found that when I want better reception I extend the wire out from the cabinet and screw the end to one of the screws on the window frame. a little unorthodox, but excellent reception!
