Forbidden ??

Whenever I try to view any Owner album pix, including those in my own album, I get an error msg advising that I am not authorized to view Gallery 2 photos ... What should I be doing differently?

I'm having trouble duplicating this problem. Can those of you experiencing it, try the following and report back?

At the bottom of any page, is a link titled "Delete all board cookies". Click it, try again, and let me know.

Note: After you click the link, you'll probably need to login again.

I checked my access to photos, no problem. But, as soon as I used the back button on my browser, I reached the forbidden gallery2 message. Had to re-log in to get back on the site

Had not looked at Pix before and I got the "Forbidden" message the first time I tried to look at a particular picture in an album. The "delete cookies" option did the trick now and I have no problem. Do we have to use this each time we come back to the site and look at pix or is it a one time "innoculation"??

I just tried the "delete board cookies" fix and it gets even weirder. That resulted in a different "Forbidden" msg, not referring to Gallery 2. These messages are sporadic and do not occur each time I try to access user albums. The original error msg. continues to appear, however.

There's an update to the Gallery software that might fix this issue. It will take me some time to install and test, but I'll drop a note here when complete.

Hey Bill, when does the "New Posts" counter reset? On the CB site, it does it every time I leave the site, I never log out of there fully but on this site, it doesn't seem to do that. Only periodically, maybe every 24 hours?

Humm,

I've run into the forbidden zone again. Happens somewhat randomly when looking at picture albums, and sometimes locks up the website so I have to close and log back in. Help!

Here's what I get :
"Forbidden
You don't have permission to access /gallery2.php on this server."

This photo album deal is really getting quite annoying. I cannot get past the first page without getting the dreaded "Forbidden" screen. I have logged out and back in four times and get the same message......

The "Forbidden" issue still rears its ugly head whenever I try to access the Owner Albums. In fact, it seems most prevalent when I go to my own album. Is there any hope for a fix?? Thanks, Alex, "Kamalani"

I am also getting the "Forbidden" message. Also many photos are blank with a red X. I hit the refresh button, sometimes they appear, other times I get the "Forbidden" notice. Am I doing something wrong?

Forbidden is still a problem. As for the "red x", right click on the picture, select "show picture" and see if it comes up.

I think I have to chime in on this forbidden thing, too. Very frustrating. Is there a fix in the works? the problem appears to be increasing. Some times its fine, then other times, like this morning, it seems to be really cranky and getting crankier.

HELP!! "Forbidden" is taking control of the entire site! Now it seems that there is a Forbidden message for every action, even returning to the home page. Whatever is a Tugnut to do?
