Force 10 Stove Not Lighting

Good Morning!

First time on the boat going thru all systems. Tried to light the stove with no luck after completing the following:

1. Attached propane bottle and opened - 100 psig+ on gauge.
2. Cooktop Oven Breaker on.
3. Pushed knob for 20 seconds - did not smell propane.

Suspect I am missing a step?????

Any help would be appreciated!!!

Hi Mike,

So you had the gas valve next to the stove turned on and it had a green light correct?

Then when you turn on the gas valve for the stove top 90 degrees to the right and then you push the knob in while pressing the sparking lighter and nothing happened. Did you hear the gas or air coming out of the burner?

I would try it a couple of times because if this is the first use there may have been quite a bit of air in the line. Maybe 10 seconds at a time, then give it a break for 10 seconds and then try again.

Let us know what you find out.
