Forced Air Cabin Heater vs. Webasto

According to the R-31 Owner’s Manual, the boat is equipped with a Forced Air Cabin Heater located somewhere under the wine cooler. The off/on switch is marked “Heater” and located on the DC Distribution Panel. Nothing happens when I turn the switch on.

I wonder if this switch becomes redundant when you opt to have a Webasto heater installed?

Not sure if it's the same as our C30 but I would assume it is: namely, an engine-warmed heater that is available when the engine is running and warm. (And works quite well.)

To turn on the fan for the forced air cabin heater, the breaker must be on at the 12 volt panel and the heater switch located toward the lower left corner of your helm console must also be switched on.
