I have a C30 with a Volvo D4 engine. I can't reach the forward bilge pump or the switch. I would like to test them periodically and surely some day they'll require service. I had a Ranger Tug tech on board and he couldn't get to them either. Anyone know any techniques or tricks to get to pump and switch?

Not sure where it is located on the C-30. I am able to reach down from the cockpit on my R-27 port side past the alternator and touch the sensor to get it to engage. To replace it I had to access it from the step access and that was a bit difficult in itself, but doable.

Mine is sandwiched forward of the motor, between the motor and the bulkhead. Of course at the bilge level. No way to reach down from the top. One has to reach around the side of the motor and down to the bilge. I can't wedge my shoulders or head down the side to be able to stretch my arms far enough.
