Hello Tugnuts,

Our forward outlets are not functioning. Any suggestions? Is there a dedicated breaker? If so, where would it be located?

We have looked at all the usual suspects and we are stumped.

Any advice is much appreciated.

Thanks!

Your forward outlets should have a GFCI plug that the rest of the forward plugs are wired thru. Check to see if the GFCI needs to be reset. That would my first guess.

Thanks Jim, we will investigate that possibility. I did see the GFCI in the kitchen but didn’t see one forward.

Many times there will be one GFCI and other outlets are hooked up to it on the load side. Hence, if the GFCI trips the other outlets downstream will not operate as well. Note: The GFCI outlets have been known to fail and not reset. The power to the outlet must be on for the reset to engage. If it wont reset it most likely will ne replacement or there could be a leak downstream.

If I am not mistaken, the outlet in the master stateroom is wired downstream from the one in the head. If the GFI is tripped in head outlet, the one up by the bed will not work.
