Back in April, we had the new hardtop put on Karma. We are still have the bimini that we had installed on Karma when we bought her. It was used for five months when we choose to have the hardtop done.

If anyone is currently considering purchasing an R-29 and would like to save some money, we will "donate'" this bimini to your "cause".

It is black sunbrella with a 1" SS Frame. It does not have the access zippers over the stairs that the factory installs on their bimini's. We have all of the hardware for the top.

There is a very good picture of the bimini under the "Karma Gets Her Hardtop" tab on our web site at:
www.RangerTug25-Solitude.com

Send me a PM if you are interested.

I should have mentioned in my first post, the frame for the bimini is at the Monroe plant so anyone on the east coast having an R-29 built can certainly consider this bimini! I am sure for a small price the factory would be glad to install it. If they are not, King Marine Canvas may.

That's a great "deal"! Am currently replacing the alum framed bimini on my TC255 (probably about the same size) with 1" SS frame. The frame itself (4 Bows) will cost me about $350 while all those SS fittings (at a great price too!) will cost about another $200. I will install it myself (priceless, I work cheap).

Someone with a 29 'abuilding should jump on this.

Very generous!

You would think so! But so far no takers. Next week I will go to the Monroe plant and disassemble the frame if I have no takers. Howard is getting tired of being my warehouse....... (thank you again Howard!) The fittings are worth a couple of hundred dollars alone. I will find another use for those if someone does not want the bimini....

Last chance for anyone needing a nearly new bimini for an R-29. On Wednesday I will be stopping by Monroe to cut up the frame and remove the fittings for future use. Again, the price for this bimini is FREE! It includes all the fittings that you need to install (or have it installed) on your boat. You can view it on our web site at http://www.rangertug25-solitude.com . It is on the "Karma gets her hardtop" page.

Again the price is FREE!!!!!!!

Is the offer still good? I have an R29 in Ft Myers Fl and would be interested in acquiring a bimini top. Thanks.

Jerry,
It just so happens that I was not able to get to the factory and cut up the frame this week so, the offer still stands. Do you already have an R-29? If so, how do you plan to get the frame to Florida? If not, contact Howard at the Monroe plant for the possibilty of having the factory install the frame for you. If they are not able to, Contact Dave Hauck at King Marine Canvas. He may be able to install it before your R-29 leaves for Florida.

David/Jerry: Sounds like the boat is already in Fla and has been since the summer. Why not have the factory put it on a trailer hauling other R-Tugs to a dealer down there and piggyback it. Be a lot cheaper than shipping it separately. JMHO.

Charlie,
That was my thought also.... we will need to make sure the factory is good with it. Your right, it did sound to me as if the boat was already in Florida..... but, you know what they say when you "ass u me" something......

Yes I do want the top and will pay what ever is reasonable to ship it to FL. I am reasonably close to the Ranger dealer in Apalachacola and could pick it up there if that makes the most sense or would it be better to ship it directly to me in Ft Myers. Let me know. I can be reached by cell at 201 248 2800. Jerry Geisenheimer

Installation is not a problem as I have a company here who has worked for me before and has agreed to install. Jerry
