Certainly you can. I covered our R-25's manual/pump head to an electrical flush head using fresh water. I made a T to the fresh water line under the sink in shower room and plugged the raw water line.
If you do this, the water pressure breaker must be on.

mine is 27 with elect head i don't think i would a solenoid ?
