We just bought a hardly used R-25SC 2011. We filled the fresh water tank but it was empty the next day. Trying to find a valve to close but don't have a boat user manual.

There no vales that I know of.
Was the water pump left on? if there is a leak that could slowly empty your tank. I had this happen to me.
I have to ask, where did you fill the tank? There are two places to put water on board. One is where you hook the hose up and it pressurizes the fresh water system, but does not fill the water tank. Filling the water tank is done through the deck fitting mid ships on the starboard side.
Good Luck

Does your R-25SC have the fresh water tank gauge ? If so, did it indicate the tank was full after filling it ?

When you say it was empty next day did you have the water pressure pump breaker switch in the ON position ?

Hi Barry,
Yes it does and operates very intermittently. 😱
It worked off and on when I first bought the boat new
Last year it worked well all summer on the Columbia River. 😀
The indicator has not worked this year since I put the boat in the water in March. 🙁

I filled it mid-ships and the water tank gauge indicated full. I did not have the pressure pump on.

One common leak on my R25 and several others was the loose hoses attached to water heater. With pump left on it will leak to bilge and might not be so easily detected.

I have heard of other locations for loose hoses. Ranger does a good job but must have gone low bid on their professional hose tightening technician

Glad you figured it out... 🙂
