Freshwater Pump Location

Hi,

Even after looking over the drawing in the manual a few times, I'm struggling to find the freshwater pump on my C28. I'm not having any trouble with it, but I need to locate it in case I need to work on it.

On the drawing I have, it looks like its somewhere near or under the helm. Do I get to it via the quarter berth?

Any help appreciated.

Martin,

The fresh water pump is located behind the FWD panel in the 1/4 berth, the pump is located on the STRBD side of the 1/4 berth directly under the helm seat. Hope this helps.

you need to unscrew the two panels on the wall towards the bow on the starboard side. access is then easy. it sits to starboard of the water tank and under the throttle control.

Here is a photo of the location. I installed a whole house water filter just aft of the pump.


I added an access panel to get to it now.

Thank you all, that's a big help. I like to idea of a whole house filter, have to give that some thought.

Never would have found this without help. Thank you. Once that second panel is out access is pretty good.

I found that pump and my AC unit. I never realized I had claustrophia until I went after the AC. If I have a problem with it I am going to hire the smallest mechanic I can find.
